How to join/eligibility

To join this career-building course, you need class 12 or 10+2 in Arts, Science, Commerce or any other field. A 3-year diploma in engineering or other field, from a state board of technical education, is also accepted.

Job roles

Front office assistant

As a front office assistant, your duties include handling guest check-ins & check-outs at hotels, registering & assigning rooms, coordinating the room status updates with the housekeeping department and managing the phone calls.

Housekeeping supervisor

You will obtain list of rooms to be cleaned immediately & list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments, assign housekeeping staff their duties, and confirm that the cleanliness standards are met. 

Food & beverages executive

You will take care of all daily operations pertaining to customers’ dining experience at a hotel – such as quality control, inventory management, health and safety regulations and customer service.

Food production executive

Your job role includes preparing a proper schedule of food production, and ensuring that the production meets health, sanitation & quality standards set by the corporation, food industry & government agencies. 

Guest relationship officer

The role of the guest relationship officer is to provide a high level of support and information to guests at the hotel’s front desk and handle enquiries relating to reservations.
